In these 2 videos, Vincent Concina, an 8th grade Football player and Wrestler from Clark, is shown carrying 106 lb kettlebells in each hand, performing pull ups on “hand grenades” and all with picture perfect technique. Vincent trains 2 x week and sometimes 1 x week.

He travels a good 20 minutes each way.

We have kids who live 5 minutes away and their parents make excuses for them being too busy. As a parent, this is inexcusable. Help your kids become the best they can. Making excuses and not supporting your kids is setting them up for failure.

It’s a shame, but it’s a reality I see all the team. Parents enabling their kids by fabricating lame excuse to make up for their lack of action.

I’m sure this TRUTH offends the excuse makers. I am speaking as a parent and a coach.

If my own kids didn’t achieve success I will find a way to help them. I won’t make excuses for them.

If I don’t have the money to afford a service I will find an extra job and sleep less to make things happen.

How parents can make so many excuses baffles me.

I am inspired by the parents of our Underground athletes who commit to helping their kids become champions. Thank you for being supportive and success oriented.

What’s Your Excuse?

Keep it to yourself, NOBODY CARES!
