Here is the e mail Chris Lee sent me after finishing his final week of training before heading to Pa to play College Baseball:
It’s Chris ” the meathead” Lee.
I can’t believe it’s already time to say goodbye but it is.
I leave Sunday, the 25th of August.
2 years have gone by way too fast.
I remember coming in for the free trial and seeing how elite everyone else was at all the lifts and how EXPLOSIVE they were. Made me feel like a bitch haha.
Through all that training, I went from 32% body fat, to 12 %.
Baseball wise I went from a 7.2 sec 60 yard dash to a 6.7.
I went from not even close to hitting a homerun to hitting 3 in one game.
My arm strength went from 72 mph to 82 mph.
All these changes couldn’t have been done without you nor the underground coaches and I thank you all.
There is so much more to say but i don’t want to get too sappy.
Keep motivating others as much as you motivated me. You’re integrity and passion really does rub off on others.

Chris has been by far one of THE MOST dedicated, hard working athletes we’ve ever worked with. Even during the In Season, when the majority of athetes STOP training, Chris trained 2 x week! He would show up even if he had 20 minutes to train.
He was breaking school records for JP Stevens Baseball and his dedication, hard work and mental toughness have payed off BIG time as he is now off to play College Baseball!
Here are some videos of Chris in training. You might look at them and say to yourself, “WOW! I could never do that!” This is the WRONG attitude.
As you can see, Chris did NOT start here as a strong athlete, he worked his ass off and BUILT himself into an outstanding athlete. He followed our nutrition guidelines and went above and beyond.
That is HOW champions are built!
If you are ready to become a Champion you need to be committed, humble and coachable.
Starting with a negative attitude or excuses will never help.
Step up and GO for it! You CAN become a Champion if you have the commitment of Chris “The Meathead” Lee!

The fallacies of sports specific training and other gimmicks are confusing many athletes, parents and sport coaches.

The training they’re experiencing at The Underground Strength Gym compared to what their friends are following: laying on benches, machines, half reps, poor technique, etc leads to injury and NO results.
